Greg Chave was born on September 21, 1950. He served in the Army from August 1969 to February 1972. He was in the 198 LIB 1/6 Infantry Company Americal Division. He served in Fort Cambell, Kentucky, Fort Lee, Virginia, Fort Sill, and Oklahoma. He served during the Vietnam War. He was led by batallion commander Norman Schwarzkopf in 1970.
